Overview

openjdk-jre is a free and open-source implementation of the Java Platform, Standard Edition (Java SE).

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Access Control. A flaw was found in the file:// protocol handler for Windows operating system. An insufficient permission check could cause a remote attacker to gain access to sensitive information.

Note: This issue does not affect OpenJDK builds for Linux.
