Upgrade github.com/kopia/kopia/internal/scrubber to version 0.16.0 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Information Exposure. An attacker can access storage connection credentials that are written to the console by executing the kopia repo status --json command in an insecure environment.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be mitigated by avoiding the execution of kopia repo status with the --json flag in insecure environments and by not logging the output of the kopia repo status --json command.
