Overview

Microsoft.ChakraCore.vc140 is the core part of the Chakra JavaScript engine that powers Microsoft Edge.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Remote Code Execution (RCE). A remote malicious user is able to execute arbitrary code in the context of an authenticated user due to a bug in asm.js arguments.

Note: This CVE ID is different from CVE-2017-0201.
